Carol W. Morrison, CRNP- Nurse Practitioner Carol Morrison moved to Luverne shortly after birth and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Troy University. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama in the school’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She currently divides her time between SARHA Doctors Center and Dozier Family Health Center.

She is certified with both the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Nasser Samuy attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He trained in Family Medicine at Clarion Hospital in Clarion, Pennsylvania. Stephen R. Brandt, M.D.

Dr. Stephen Brandt attended medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He began his specialization in children at Keesler Medical Center on Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. He is a board-certified member of the American Board of Pediatrics.

Amy E. Brown, M.D.

Dr. Brown was born in Dothan, Al, and grew up in the Phenix City, AL/ Columbus, GA area. She attended college in Nashville, TN at Trevecca Nazarene University. She then went on to Medical School at Ross University School of Medicine.

She recently completed her pediatric residency at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Dr. Brown has special interests in pediatric injury prevention and improving the health of children by improving the health of families.

Millicent R. Harrison, NP-C

Millicent, is a native of Slocomb, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University. Her nursing background consists of newborn, pediatric, and maternal health at Flowers Hospital and in the Family Birth Center at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. With the desire to do more for her patients, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University.

Millicent is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also a member of the Wiregrass Nurse Practitioner Association. She now resides in Dothan, Alabama, where she attends Calvary Baptist Church and enjoys running, baking, and painting. Millicent’s passion has always been the newborn and pediatric population, and she is honored to serve the community at Enterprise Children's Center.

Jessica E. Poitevint, CRNP

Jessica is a native of New Brockton, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Troy University in 2007. She found a passion for pediatrics after working as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Jessica’s pre-graduate focuses include newborns, pediatrics, and women’s health. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from South University.

She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Association as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Jessica now resides in New Brockton, Alabama, with her husband and three children.

Norma Hughes, NP-C

Norma, began her nursing career in 1994 after graduating from Wallace Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Her work experience includes orthopedics, oncology, geriatric care, surgery, infection control, and healthcare quality management. She spent over 20 years of her nursing career serving the people of Geneva County at Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva, AL.

Thanks to the support of her patient and enduring husband Michael, she was able to return to college in 2011 to pursue her Master’s in Nursing. Graduating with honors, she earned her BS in nursing and received a leadership award from the University of South Alabama (USA) in Mobile in 2013.

She is nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner and nationally certified by the Competency and Credentialing Institute as a Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR). Having grown up and lived in this area all of her life, she is thrilled to be practicing at Geneva Family Health Center and considers it an honor to serve the people of Geneva County as a nurse practitioner.

Dr. Walters completed his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and residency at Armed Health Family Medicine in South Carolina. Dr. Robert Gilliam was born in Dayton, Ohio, and received his Letter of Honor in Pediatrics & Family Practice and his Letter of Commendation in Internal Medicine from Ohio State University. He completed his rotating internship and residency in Family Practice at Florida Hospital in Orlando, where he also served as Chief Resident. After that, he served as Director of the ER and private practice at St. Cloud Hospital, followed by Adventist Health Systems. He came to SARHA Doctors Center in 1990 and served as Medical Director 1996-2016.

Alan is originally from Walker County, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2001. He then received his Master’s Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham 2003. Alan specializes in pediatrics with 20 years’ experience at Children’s Health System in Birmingham, AL. He also worked in the Pediatric Emergency Department at both Emergency Medical Associates of Tampa at St. Joseph’s (Tampa, FL) and TEAM Health at Capitol Regional Medical Center (Tallahassee, FL). Alan now resides in Troy, AL, with his wife Dana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is also employed by SARHA.
